If Victor had written a letter home to his family telling them what he was really doing on his journey I feel it would change the many things in the story. It would basically change how the characters view each other. With them viewing each other differently that would change there thoughts, feelings and there actions even. With there thoughts feelings and actions changing that could change even bigger things involved in a story. Bigger things such as the conflict of the story. It could also change the mood of just one specific part of the story, or the whole book.
This clearly shows that no matter how small you think it is, changing one part of something could effect a lot of things in the long run. If you try and think about it more it does not just affect there view point. Like I said in the beginning, there are a lot of the story that could of changed. In my eyes I feel that if Victor would have written a letter home to his family telling them what he was really doing it would of changed the whole book starting from that point on.

Rejection
There are many situations in which a person might feel he or she are being repeatedly rejected by others. one specific situation would be in a relationship. Not just dating relationships, but family, and friendship relationships as well. If not a lot of people want to be in a relationship with you. You may start to feel like people are repeatedly rejecting you, from having a relationship with you. A rejected person could go through many emotional responses. A person experiencing the feeling of being repeatedly rejected would not be happy, or anything supportive or encouraging.
No one gets happy by feeling rejected over and over. None of the emotional responses would be positive responses. Some responses such as anger, sadness, depression, or disappointment are some of the responses that a rejected person might feel. They could also feel alone or not wanted. They might even start thinking about whats wrong with there self. depending on the situation and the person, the way they feel could vary. Atmosphere, Action, or Supernatural?
Out of the three elements I believe that atmosphere is the most effective element. The atmosphere is the setting and diction in Gothic novels that build up the suspense and the sense of unease in the reader. The thrill and tension is what the atmosphere adds in to Gothic novels. Not to mention the anxiety and nervousness it adds to it as well. Gothic novels are characterized by fear, horror, mystery, darkness and the supernatural. In my opinion with out the atmosphere included in Gothic novels, they are really not considered Gothic novels anymore.
Whats a Gothic novel with out the thrill and unease? The action and supernatural does add the anxiousness and thrill factor, but Gothic novels are still really nothing with out the atmosphere. The atmosphere are the crutches that hold up the other two elements. The action and supernatural stand out because of the atmosphere element. With out the atmosphere a Gothic novel would be like a sentence with only a noun and a verb. I believe that the effective element in a Gothic novel is the atmosphere.
Examples from the novel, Frankenstein:
- "Their icy and glittering peaks shown in the sunlight over the clouds. My heart, which was before sorrowful,. now swelled with something like joy... I suddenly beheld the figure of a man, at some distance, advancing toward me with superhuman speed. He bounded over the crevices of the ice, among which I had walked with caution...as he approached, seemed to exceed that of man... I was troubled..., (Shelley, pg. 77)."
- "...I remember , a stronger light pressed upon my nerves , so that i was obligated to shut my eyes. Darkness then came over me, and troubled me; but hardly had i felt this, when, by opening my eyes, as i now suppose , the light poured in upon me again..., (Shelley, pg. 80)."

Frankenstein
Mary Shelley’s opening to the novel Frankenstein starts off with four letters. The four letters are letters that an explorer Robert Walton is writing to his sister Margret. These letters are to inform Margret how things are going on his search. In these letters Robert writes really detailed on how he feels or the events that are going on. If I had to write a ghost story it would probably begin with the setting. The setting would probably be described in great detail about how odd the surrounding are. then I would most likely go on with with who the main characters were. An example of how I would start it: There was a city in the country out in the middle of no ware. the people who lived there lived spread out. If you had a neighbor in they probably lived about a few miles away. no one in this town was very social with on another. In this odd house that always looked like it was going to fall over lived the Boomer family. Now from here I would go on and explain something odd about the family. If I had to write a ghost story I would start off by introducing the setting and the main characters

Technology
Whether your working or sleeping its everywhere, all the time. Even in schools today technology is being used. Lessons are being done by videos that are able to be played back at any time. textbooks are replaced by online readings, and notes are taken on laptops or on tablets. Technology has been made to make life easy, however that may or may not be such a positive thing.
I my self feel that technology has made me lazy. With out technology not only would I be more social I would be more active. Instead of playing a basketball app on my phone, I would be out side actually playing the sport. I would also spend more time with my family. For me technology can be addicting. During family events I would probably spend more time texting someone then spending time with my family.
With out technology I would probably act different, and look different. If technology just disappeared and I had no memory of it ever existing, I feel it would effect me positively. I also believe it would affect a lot of other people positively as well. technology has made a positive effect on the world, but it also has brought some negative to. Is technology worth having if it brings negativity to the world?

Responcibilities
A time I was given a responsibility that I did not think I could handle was all the responsibilities that came with attending early college. It is all the responsibilities a normal highschool kid has, plus more. Also the importance level of these responsibilities are a bit higher. Going to early college can get overwhelming with all of the responsibilities. I feel like my responsibilities are my
Obligations. If you do not follow through with your responcibilities it could effect you poorly especially in early college.

My Phone
I woke up and went to school like any other other Monday. It started off to be a pretty okay day. By lunch time the only bad part about my day was my English and History classes as usual. Even though I have those classes after lunch, I dread them all day long. Eventually school ended and everything was fine.
When I got off the bus the only thing on my mind at that time was all the homework I had to do. I hopped in my moms car and on we went to are house. When I got home I realized that I did not have my phone. I knew that telling my mom was not an option, so I went the rest of the day with out it hoping that I would find it tomorrow. Well tomorrow came, and I still found nothing.
In my mind I knew my brand new cell phone was stolen. As soon as I finally accepted it I did not know what to do, so I just cried. I told my mom as soon as I saw here what happened. I figured I had to tell her sooner or later. for the rest of the year my mom is probably going to think I am irresponsible, and untrustworthy.
